Fees For Procedure
Ambulatory outpatient setting allows the procedures to be performed at a reduced cost.
- The center charges a single fee called "Facility fee" which covers:
- Use of the facility
- Equipment and supplies
- Medications and sedation used for the procedure
- Nursing services
- Recovery room services
- The facility fee does not cover:
- Physician's professional fee
- Lab or Pathology fees
- Anesthesia provider fee, if applicable
Insurance and Billing
- Our business office will contact you prior to the procedure to discuss your financial responsibilities.
- We accept PPOs, Medicare and other insurance plans.
- Please bring your insurance card(s).
- You will be asked to sign a financial agreement indicating your responsibility for the bill.
- The Endoscopy Center will bill your insurance. You will be responsible for any remaining balance.
- Co-payment and deductibles are due prior to the procedure. We accept cash, personal checks, VISA or MasterCard, Apple pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay.
- Cash Pay/No Insurance: If you do not have health insurance, you will be required to pay the full amount of the "facility fee" prior to the procedure.
- The physician fee is to be paid separately to your doctor.
- You may also incur a pathology fee if any biopsies are taken.

Will the Endosopy center accept my insurance plan?
We accept most health insurance plans. We also provide care for patients belonging to local medical groups and independent physicians associations (IPAs), including Greater Newport Physicians (GNP), Prospect Medical Group, and Regal Medical Group/ADOC.
What will I be expected to pay?
Patients are responsible for payment of their procedure. Prior to the day of your procedure, we will give you an estimate of any charges that will be your responsibility. If you have insurance, we require that you pay your co-payment prior to your procedure. We accept cash, personal checks, VISA or MasterCard. We will bill your insurance company on your behalf. Your final charges will be determined by your insurance company and based on the service you actually receive.
Are payment arrangements available?
We can make arrangements in certain circumstance of need. Call to speak to the business office to request payment options. We will work with you.
What will my insurance cover?
Every insurance plan is different, so please contact your insurance carrier directly or ask your employer for more information. We will also call your insurance carrier to verify your eligibility and to get authorization for your procedure.
Will my doctor’s fees be part of the Endoscopy center bill?
No, the Endoscopy Center bill is only the facility fee. You will be billed separately by your doctor and for any pathology or laboratory fees. |
